Specifications include, but are not limited to: In collaboration with the Northwest Seaport Alliance (NWSA), the opportunity to develop a new cruise terminal at Terminal 46 (T-46) has become viable. The proposed new cruise terminal is expected to occupy the northern 29 acres out of the overall 88-acre terminal facility. The Port is currently seeking a private investor (the Partner), through a public-private-partnership, with whom to proceed with the new cruise terminal development. Waterside (may include areas managed by NWSA): Cruise fender system -- The existing fender system was developed for container terminal operations and not suitable for cruise / non-container vessel operations. A new or modified fender system is necessary. Cruise shore power system – Shore power capable cruise vessels will be required to be connected to the City’s electrical power grid. A 20 Mega Volt Amps (MVA) shore power and cable management system is anticipated.
