Specifications include, but are not limited to: Community Outreach Build proactive traffic safety culture. Dispel misperceptions that risky driving behaviors are common through data informed messaging. Understand the community and ensure that traffic safety messages are being heard by everyone. Find ways to make positive traffic safety culture a topic of conversation in the community. Participate in adjacent community coalitions that can help identify opportunities for projects to improve traffic safety culture in the assigned region. This can include but is not limited to partnering with local schools and Community Prevention and Wellness Initiative coalitions to implement a Positive Community Norms project in a local high school. Develop a Regionally Based Data Driven Strategy Identify problems, generate potential solutions, and establish a plan of action. Gather and analyze data; make decisions and assign resources based on empirical information.
