Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Port of Seattle is implementing a Stormwater Improvements Project to install a water quality treatment system at the Terminal 46 container facility, Basin 2. The improvements involve installation of an underground pre-cast storm water quality vault system and replacement of the existing conveyance piping (outfall) to treat runoff prior to discharge. Installation of the underground vault structure and conveyance piping involves localized excavation zones requiring shoring and dewatering for deep excavations, as well as temporary rerouting of stormwater from the upland terminal area during installations. Improvements also include localized dock rehabilitation, backfill and restoration to match existing pavement grades.
