Specifications include, but are not limited to: King County (“County”) is issuing this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) to obtain qualification submittals from Contractors interested in testing Polymer for use in the thickening operations at King County Wastewater Treatment Division treatment plants. The County desires to enter into a contract for the supply and delivery of thickening polymer products for use at its three wastewater treatment plants. The contract is to include a catalog of dry and emulsion polymer products to be purchased for use in the Dissolved Air Flotation Thickeners (DAFTs) process at South Treatment Plant and the thickening processes at Brightwater and West Point Treatment plant. The contract is for an initial term of two (2) years with an option for three (3) one year extensions to provide sufficient quantities of polymer to treat approximately 90,000 dry tons per year of a blend of waste activated and primary sludge.
