Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Expanding public/private sector participation in Mentoring, building and maintaining relationships with other State agencies and private sector partners. b. Maintaining a statewide database of quality Mentoring programs to refer prospective volunteers and secure enrollment of the programs in Mentoring Connector, national referral service; c. Raising public awareness about the need for Mentoring and the positive impact of Mentoring; d. Disseminating knowledge of advances in youth Mentoring research and best practices e. Providing technical assistance and training on Mentoring; f. Profiling the prevalence, and nature of youth Mentoring in Washington; and g. Reaching out to all youth Mentoring programs
