Specifications include, but are not limited to: Develop updated floodplain analyses in King County for six creeks and the South Fork Skykomish River for King County Department of Natural Resources and Parks, Water and Land Resources Division (WLRD). These floodplain analyses will be used to update the existing digital flood insurance rate maps (FIRM) and flood insurance study (FIS) reports for portions of the incorporated and unincorporated areas of King County, Washington. These floodplain analyses shall be produced to be compatible with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) countywide digital format. The Consultant shall develop updated flood hazard data and conduct the floodplain analyses using detailed-study methods in accordance with the FEMA guidelines. All tasks and products shall be conducted and produced to meet the requirements of the most recent FEMA Guidelines and Standards for Flood Hazard Mapping Partners, the Analysis and Mapping Procedures for Non-Accredited Levees, and the King County Flood Hazard Management Plan policies
