Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.Responding to the impact of physical distancing reducing the security screening queue capacity by managing the overflow with virtual queueing.2.Ensuring that travelers receive effective communication about their individual status in the VQ.3.Managing queue lines within SEA’s physical space limitations, while complying with 6-foot physical distancing requirements.4.Developing a long-term plan for Virtual Queuing by providing a solution that adds value to passengers even after the pandemic (e.g., passengers enjoy the VQ experience because it removes some stress from waiting in the security screening lines). 5.Providing passengers advanced reservations for Security Screening upon mobile check-in for their flight (up to 24 hours in advance). Advanced reservations for Security Screening times during peak hours may be limited and the intent is to encourage travelers to clear security during non-peak times.
