Proposed programs should thoughtfully reflect these components, cultural diversity and flexible delivery methods. The Covid-19 pandemic has severely disrupted County operations. Currently, about one third (1/3) of employees are teleworking, one third (1/3) are actively involved in emergency response, and one third (1/3) are considered essential personnel providing critical services such as transportation, corrections, criminal justice, and wastewater treatment. It is unknown at this time when normal operations will resume, but it is anticipated that some teleworking, social distancing, limits on in-person meetings, and donning personal protective equipment will continue for months. We are, therefore, interested in formats that offer essential, emergency, and teleworking employees participation consistent with public health guidelines for health and safety. There are two (2) elements to this scope of work. The first provides an approach that focuses on strategies to improve health by losing or managing weight. The second provides a mindfulness based approach to health without pursuing weight change or focusing on a particular weight goal.
