Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Consultant shall provide the following: Task 1: Data Collection 2019 Collect raw count data from 89 King County locations (279 legs). The counts shall be collected over a continuous 48 hour period, Tuesday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Thursday: midnight to midnight. • The data for each location shall include: volume, ADT, speed (two mile per hour increments) at specified locations, and FHWA 13-bin vehicle classification (utilizing King County approved classification study). • Data shall be submitted the first and the 15th of each month for the previous two-week period. • Counts are to be collected January to December of the year • No counts are to be collected during holiday weeks or winter and spring school breaks. • If unusual conditions exist on the road (weather, construction, etc...) that would cause a non-standard count condition, the count must be rescheduled for a different date. • Once data is collected and verified from all 89 locations, a traffic count analysis report must be prepared that includes the following information: o ADT per leg in each direction o Summary of count procedures as per industry standards, King County classification procedures, MUTCD, AASHTO, IMSA and WSDOT guidelines and standards o Anomalies found in the data
