Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Ecology (Ecology) is soliciting bids from firms interested in providing design and development services to add new features and functions for an existing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Finance and Operations instance to meet the federal grant accounting and toxics cleanup cost recovery business requirements defined in this RFP for Ecology. Ecology desires to move away from outdated, custom-built systems toward an industry supported, flexible system that will meet business needs now, and can adapt to meet business needs in the future. Implementing a modern system and standardizing business processes will ensure state policies and procedures are followed, financial records are audit compliant, and financial risk is reduced. Ecology intends to replace the following two financial systems with the D365 platform in this phase of the project: Federal Grants Accounting, Toxics Cleanup Cost Recovery System.
