Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Maintain a full software stack to manage the City needs from RMM to Antimalware. • Fully manage and maintain Office 365 email, spam filtering solution, and OneDrive permissions. • Employee onboarding and offboarding as needed, which includes Active Directory management, software setup, file share permission setup, email account creation, as well as the specific line of business software setup per department listed above. • Locate and assist with fiber mapping and connectivity, as well as continually investing time into network topology improvement and documentation. • Configure/Reconfigure network switches, routers, and firewalls as necessary. • Cloud/Backups - Maintain Azure cloud backups for all servers from NAS (backup target.); Maintain the local backups using Veeam and/or ShadowProtect software. • Management of Meraki Firewall and various model switches throughout the City buildings. • Maintain naming scheme and properly tag all equipment. • Reconfigure switches and servers to allow communication between sites for any new technology. • Cleanup of network cabling and unused devices as they are discovered, or new hardware is installed. • Provide password resets and account permission changes when needed. • Manage file shares and associated user permissions. • Investigation of blacklisted installs, threat alerts, and cleanup of malware as needed. • Available for critical emergency support 24x7. • Setup scan to email and file shares as needed. • Backup and maintenance of critical systems. • Recommendation, consultation, and planning of hardware and software purchases. • Assist vendors with network access, assign IP reservations for vendor equipment and maintain network connectivity, troubleshoot vendor hardware communication, trace network/route conflicts and assign vendors with correct IP information as needed, as well as any other needs the arise specific to each 3rd party vendor. • Maintain network equipment, battery backups, wireless (including locating rogue AP), etc. • Assist all staff with technical issues related to hardware, general software use, email issues, and specific line of business software. • Networking troubleshooting after power outages including network ports, PoE, and failing hardware. • Maintain network room security, including installation of cameras, as needed, in each location. • Activate/terminate network connections for vendors and City staff. • Maintain server/network hardware with constant adjustment of storage space/shares and continual monitoring of access to network racks. • Ongoing self-discovery of the fiber network layout due to lack of vendor information. • Install and configure new computers, software, printers, and other equipment as needed. • Maintain connection for postage meter, copiers and plotters. The City has a separate support contract with Xerox for copier issues and with NeoPost for postage issues. • Manage network activity, connectivity issues, and VLAN access
