The purpose of the project is to improve the student pick up/drop off area to limit the number of vehicles queuing and parking along Fruitland Avenue. The south parking area will be extended further south to provide a passenger drop off/pick up area, as well as additional onsite queuing and parking stalls. The north parking lot will be redeveloped into the bus drop off/pick up area. The site-work includes clearing of existing trees, vegetation and parking lot improvements, stormwater conveyance, detention, and treatment facilities, fire hydrant relocation, new sidewalks, raised concrete crosswalks, and a redeveloped gathering plaza, parking lots, parking lot lighting, electric vehicle charging stations, fencing, and landscaping.
