A service call and repair may occur when the City observes a problem or a malfunction of an existing ADS® flow meter that needs to be examined and diagnosed. The Contractor must address and repair the issue on-site. The services required may include, but are not limited to, the following tasks: • Repair or replacement of components made necessary due to the failure of flow meters or other associated equipment. • Repairs required because of problems caused by the failure, maladjustment, or deficiencies in other equipment. • Repairs due to accidental damages as a result of acts of nature, vandalism, vehicular or citizen damage to flow meters and associated equipment and materials. • Repair components include, but are not limited to, flow meter assemblies, sensors, cables, mounting bands and plates, wireless telemetry and modems. • Re-mounting and re-adjusting of flow meter sensors in pipes and structures for accurate and reliable data collection. • Calibration of flow meters and review of initial data readings after repair to ensure accurate data collection. • Removal of damaged or obsolete flow meters and associated equipment. Salvaged equipment must be returned to the City of Everett's Public Works—TSG department.
