Specifications include, but are not limited to: Obtaining first aid kits, emergency preparedness supplies and related items. A. All materials and workmanship shall conform to all minimum applicable requirements of the Washington State Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge and Municipal Construction, latest edition. B. Parts supplied to King County shall be rated as Commercial and/or Industrial Grade. Contractors need to bid their nationally known, first line, premium quality products. C. Purchases made under this contract will be utilized to replenish the Fleet Administration central warehouse inventory. The goal of this contract is to minimize the on-hand inventory investment, maximize available storage resources and establish a rapid and reliable inventory replacement source. D. The Contactor shall be responsible for replacing expired kit items (food, water, light sticks and hand warmers), as requested, that contain an imprinted expiration date, at no additional costs. E. All first aid supplies shall be packaged in a metal case emblazoned with the King County logo (See Exhibit 1).
