Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Washington State Community Prevention and Wellness Initiative (CPWI) Prevention Services Expansion Project aims to increase capacity to implement direct and environmental substance use prevention services in communities qualified to immediately implement identified evidence-based practices and programs to prevent and reduce the misuse and abuse of alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, opioids, and other drugs. The Washington State Health Care Authority’s Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery (HCA/DBHR) intends to award up to 22 contracts to local community-based organizations, government and public agencies (for example, counties, school districts, law enforcement, ESDs, and Tribes) to serve high-need communities in Washington. Any contract awarded as a result of this procurement is contingent upon the grant Notice of Award at the time of contracting.
