The selected consultant will provide comprehensive design and engineering services for the Yakima Valley Public Market, resulting in a buildable design package that includes architectural drawings, civil layouts, and detailed cost estimates. The consultant will work closely with the City of Zillah to ensure that the project is functional, visually appealing, and adaptable to potential site relocation along the same roadway. Project Goals • Develop a complete design for a multi-vendor public market building. • Provide a site and civil layout including grading, utilities, drainage, parking, and access improvements. • Deliver a comprehensive cost estimate for all design elements. • Ensure all work supports the City’s tourism, sustainability, and community development goals. • Maintain flexibility so that plans can be modified for a similar alternative site, if required.
