Specifications include, but are not limited to:generally consisting of a variety of physical, electronic, and operational security improvements. The physical security components to be implemented as part of the project generally include new and upgraded perimeter and interior fencing, manual and electrically actuated access gates, man gates, and locks. The primary electronic security systems to be implemented include a new Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Access Control System (ACS), and CCTV/DVMS (Video) systems – all of which integrate and function with each other. Specific electronic security components consist of card readers, door contacts, and glass breaks, as well as thermal, fixed and PTZ cameras to support monitoring and alarming. Infrared lighting is incorporated and intercoms/loudspeakers have been included to support/supplement communications.
