Specifications include, but are not limited to: CTS is seeking information to assist in the development and deployment of a web application security gateway solution. CTS will use this information for future procurements related to the new State Data Center (SDC). CTS provides WAN networking, Internet Access, server hosting and Managed Security Services to state and local government entities both at the customer premise and within the SDC. CTS is looking for a solution that can be virtualized and or implemented on appliances while maximizing economies of scale. This solution will replace the current environment and serve as the platform for web application security in the SDC for the next 3 to 5 years. This solution will need to support reverse proxy functionality for more than 500 web applications, provide a user store for 250K users (scaling to 750K), offer single-sign-on integration for custom and off the shelf applications, and supply robust and flexible policy enforcement as well as federated single-sign-on capabilities
