Specifications include, but are not limited to: WorkForce Central (WFC), the Workforce Development Council (WDC) of Tacoma-PierceCounty, seeks proposals for a significant redesign to its website. This redesign will makesignificant improvements to the architecture, organization, appearance, and usability of thesite for external users (most notably job-seekers, businesses, elected officials, potentialpartners, program participants, media and general public) as well as internal users. Theorganization is currently funded through an array of federal and state grants that are basedon formula allocations. Some of the primary funding streams include the WorkforceInvestment Act, the Wagner Peyser Act, and other associated workforce developmentfunding sources. The purpose of this RFQQ is to secure the services of qualifiedcontractors/contractors specializing in website design and construction.
