The Washington Turfgrass Seed Commission sends out a quarterly newsletter digital newsletters and bi-monthly printed editions to its growers, industry and interested parties. Consultant must include gathering articles, preparing the newsletter for both digital and hard copy distribution, emailing and mailing the newsletters. Website content/management. Consultant must be able to manage the watufgrass website (www.waturfgrass.org). The consultant must have the tools necessary to edit, update and keep the above listed website current and up to date. Videos and Digital Education and Outreach. Consultant will be asked to maintain and update our current educational video campaigns, including Grass Dad. Consultant will be asked to provide expertise in developing and producing new educational content to address new challenges facing the industry. Public Awareness Campaigns. Consultant will be asked to meet with various stakeholders, including, but not limited to, school districts, park departments, landscape companies, to discuss the benefits of using natural grass in there sport fields, parks and residential and commercial settings. The consultant will also be asked to publish digital newsletters addressed to the general public focusing on the benefits of natural grass. Reporting. Consultant will be required to provide a written monthly report outlining the activities preformed during that month. Report will include a summary of the education and outreach conducted during the month, statistics from the turfgrass seed website, and updates on meetings with stakeholders that may have taken place during the month.
