Specifications include, but are not limited to: Assignments could entail translating public information and marketing communications into various languages for Sound Transit. Subject matter could relate to any of the agencys departments. Sound Transit is seeking firms or individuals fluent in English and one or more languages (listed below) necessary to provide the services outlined in the scope of work. More than one firm or individual may be selected and Sound Transit reserves the right to award more than one contract from this RFQ. Scope of Work: Work may include, but is not limited to, the following translation services: translating written materials, primarily to provide public information, rider information and marketing materials in various languages as needed recording and translating oral testimony or verbal presentations into English recording and translating audio presentations into various languages as needed and providing interpretation services in the community as part of the agencys community outreach efforts. provide translated text in the dimensions specified by Sound Transit (graphic design) Firms or individuals selected shall: provide written translation of Sound Transit materials in electronic format (Adobe PDF and EPS files are preferred) meet with Sound Transit staff as required provide a production schedule and cost estimate interact with other vendors for necessary support services and provide translation services in the following languages
