The purpose of this contract is for DNR to implement and use TIMMONS GROUP’S Living Community Wildfire Protection Plan (LCWPP) solution for the purposes of developing, executing and monitoring Community Wildfire Protection Plans (CWPP) engagements across the State of Washington. The LCWPP solution would be a repository for the State and counties to centrally access, maintain, update, and share CWPP information including proposed and completed mitigation projects, activities, and treatments. The LCWPP is a user-friendly CWPP Planning tool that: • Systematically guides community team members through the CWPP process. • Provides community team members with maps and information about their area, including their fire environment. • Enables community team members to identify their key areas of concern, local knowledge and values at risk. • Enables community team members to build a robust action plan, mapping where to target effort (when appropriate). • Ensure community team members consider proven strategies in wildfire prevention, preparedness and mitigation. • Simplifies the process of community team members producing a streamlined and useful CWPP.
