4.1. The Seattle Public Library CEN Coffee Cart The scope of the required services consists of supplying and operating a coffee cart located on the Central Library third floor area. Concept Provide and operate a coffee cart of quality craftsmanship and design that is appropriate with the Central Library interior. The purpose of allowing the coffee cart is to enhance the Library environment and raise revenue for the Library. The coffee cart would operate most of the time the Central Library is open and when it is cost effective for the Operator. Aside from the offerings detailed below, other offerings may be proposed which will be subject to Library approval. Location: Third floor of the Central Library (5th Ave Entrance). Size: Approximately 500 square feet for coffee cart area (including tables/chairs) Seating: Seven (7) small tables with chairs. Storage: Dry storage space will be provided on another floor. Operator to provide lockable storage cabinet. Plumbing: Provided Menu Profile: Espresso drinks, baked goods, prebaked and cold items. (No cooking of food items on premises however, panini presses are okay) Chocolate Truffles Drip coffee, tea Italian sodas (optional) Bottled water Bottled juices (non-staining) Fresh pastries, bagels
