King County (the “County”) Department of Natural Resources and Parks (DNRP) Solid Waste Division (SWD) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced system integration consulting firms to provide services in the area of controls engineering in support of process improvement, programming, automation, hardware and software, and systems integration with small-scale Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) networks. The selected consultant (“Consultant” or “Contractor”) will provide services on an as requested basis, as described in the Work Request Process section below. The goal of the County’s responsible management and preventative maintenance philosophy is to bundle systems like SCADA, Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), computers, servers, other hardware and application software together. These services may be requested by other County agencies, departments, and divisions as needed.
