Specifications include, but are not limited to: Specifically, AIR will provide descriptive analyses of 1) District Patterns for Instructional and Leadership Frameworks; 2) Teacher and Principal Evaluations; 3) Teacher and Principal Evaluation Systems; 4) Principal Evaluators and Evaluators who Served in a Principal Role; and 5) Personnel Decisions. Since 2010, American Institutes for Research has provided continual support to OSPI’s TPEP initiative by 1) Conducting case studies of the nine TPEP pilots; 2) Conducting multiple statewide surveys of educators and creating analysis reports, including databased recommendations; 3) Creating a set of resources for Washington practitioners, including a set of seven online professional development modules; 4) Conducting policy scans; 5) Conducting a survey and development of resources for connecting teachings and teacher leaders; and 6) Analyzing SEES data for use by the TPEP Steering Committee and OSPI in understanding the implementation of the evaluation systems in districts.
