The purpose of this RFQ is to purchase a temperature-controlled ambient air monitoring shelter with meteorological tower for the Department of Ecology, Air Quality Program in accordance with RCW 39.26. The shelter will consist of two 20 foot x 8 foot x 8 foot enclosures connected by a rooftop walkway with an attached 10 meter meteorological tower. This shelter is a temporary structure that must be movable by crane and forklift and will not be considered permanent infrastructure. The enclosures will be positioned with long edges parallel, with approximately 5 feet of space in between, and connected by rooftop walkway. The sketch below provides an approximate depiction of the expected layout of the full shelter configuration.
