Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. King County Road Services is seeking contractors to provide snow removal and related services in the case of a significant snowstorm or ice storm in which the county cannot remove snow in a timely manner with existing resources B. Multiple geographic areas in King County will be identified as service areas. Contractors may offer bids to provide services in one or more of the service areas. C. Services will be requested for lesser traveled roads and smaller, neighborhood roads when all county resources have already been dispatched to provide service on higher traveled roads. Due to the unpredictable nature of circumstances which would cause these services to be required, advance planning may not be possible. The County Project Manager shall determine the prioritization of areas requiring service, and the extent of services required on a case-by-case basis. Contractor’s proven ability to respond quickly to these on-call services is critical to the acceptable performance of the contract.
