You are encouraged to consider themes like the following: Stormwater Pollution: Puget Sound Starts Here….at our storm drains Environmental Protection: Our Kitsap County waterways are resources worth protecting Local ecosystems: Preventing stormwater pollution protects orcas, salmon and human health Designs must also adhere to the following criteria: Download and use the attached template to propose design concepts. Some changes to your design may be required to accommodate the specific location. There are two different drain configurations to choose from. Please use the template as a guide to the configuration of the painting limits. Your artwork should remain within the specified painting limits. Each drain has a metal cover or frame and grate. Designs must be painted on the area surrounding the drain and must run to or incorporate the drain. Designs may not contain any business promotions or advertisements. Designs may not include any breach of intellectual property, brands or trademarks, or depictions of illegal activity. Designs may not incorporate any physical objects attached to the drains. Designs must be public friendly. If your final painted design differs significantly from the proposed design, Kitsap County reserves the right to remove the artwork.
