Provide all labor to install two (2) new three-phase transformer vaults with concrete pads, conduit and cable system as shown on Attachment 1. Trench, bedding, backfill and restoration is provided by FORMA Construction. See Attachment 2. Vaults, concrete pads, conduit, and cable is provided by City of Port Angeles Light Operations. A. Vaults - All vaults will be provided by City Light Operations for installation by the Contractor. Vaults shall be installed so that the top of the concrete pad lies 2” above finish grade. Backfill to be mechanically compacted in 6” lifts to 90% maximum proctor density. Ground to be sloped down and away from the top of the vault. Grout seal around all conduit penetrations. See Attachment 3. B. Conduit - All conduit will be provided by City Light Operations for installation by the Contractor. Rigid nonmetallic conduit shall be made of virgin polyvinyl chloride resin, extruded, schedule 40 PVC rigid conduit as noted, light gray in color, supplied in 10-foot lengths each with a coupling. It shall be U.L. listed and bear the label for use above ground, underground direct burial, and concrete encased. It shall be cut square with all rough edges removed from ends to protect the wires from abrasion.
