2.1 Lawn and Planting Bed Maintenance/DEFINITIONS Mowing and Trimming Clippingsfrom lawn and plant beds shall be collected and removed from site. Mulch mowing is not acceptable. Include all dump fees in the bid. Trimming around trees will be performed using herbicides, hand labor ormonofilament line trim bi-monthly. Trees to be protected when monofilament line is used. Planting Bed Weed Control Remove weedsfrom planting beds by hand or with weed controlspray. Lawn Fertilization Three lawn fertilizing’s and two of those shall include weed control. One plantfertilizing Insect Control Spray trees and shrubs three times per year for insects. Pruning Pruning as needed to keep security camera view unobstructed and walks clear (20 hours per year) Summer pruning 2 employees for one day (16 hours per year) Fall and Spring Pruning (70 hours per year) All pruned materialto be collected and removed from site. Include all dump feesin the bid. 2.2 Area Cleanup Remove and dispose of all trash prior to mowing (paper, empty containers, etc.) Collect and remove all grass clippings and leaves from site. All outside concrete surfaces shall be air blown after each visit. 2.3 Irrigation Irrigation and sprinkler system will be turned on in the Spring and inspected for damages. Irrigation and sprinkler system management will be performed by the contractor, as well as all the maintenance of the irrigation system. If applicable, the contractor is required to employ the necessary qualified irrigation technician(s) to maintain and repair all irrigation systems on the property. The contractor shall maintain a reasonable inventory of commonly required repair parts on the service vehicle to facilitate prompt irrigation system repairs. Adjustsprinklersystem timer to meetseasonal changes. Report and flag all water leaks and/or system malfunctions to the Regional Operations Manager. Irrigation repairs are to be billed T & M Winterize irrigation system in the fall with an air compressor.
