Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor will provide snow plowing equipment and ice maintenance (liquid and granular) mitigation services. The intention of this contract is to ensure campus entrances, parking lots, roadways, pedestrian sidewalks, and stairs are clear of snow and ice and safe for vehicle traffic, parking and pedestrian activities. The contractor will: Monitor local and regional weather conditions and provide timely, proactive response plans, via email or text, twelve (12) hours in advance of snow or ice event. Once snow accumulation reaches 1” or greater the contractor will initiate the response plan unless the Customer opts out. The customer will provide maps outlining general areas of priority and the sequence of removal. All reactive snow plowing, and proactive ice mitigation will be completed by 6:00am.
