This competitive Solicitation is issued to assist the Aging and Long-Term Support Administration, Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing of the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services in seeking up to five (5) qualified Contractors to provide sign language interpreter referral services. Such services will be used to aid DSHS and the state in meeting its legal obligation to provide equitable communication access to both Washington State employees responsible for administering public assistance, and Washington State residents who are applicants or recipients of public assistance. Upon executing the new Contract, the Apparent Successful Bidder that is awarded a contract at the end of this Solicitation will be expected to also provide services to the State of Washington Department of Children, Youth and Families, and the State of Washington Health Care Authority.
