Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Delivery of a Senior Drug Education Program which will provide community education services individuals referred by Kitsap County Division of Aging & Long Term Care (ALTC) Senior Information and Assistance and Family Caregiver Programs, aging network partners and through general public advertising. The applicant will provide at least 10 community education presentations with a goal to serve 250 total persons using unbiased educational information, without any marketing of outside products or services, and without any direct individual advising on specific issues. 2. Coordination of ADA-accessible event locations. The goal is for events to be offered throughout the year and in various Kitsap community settings. 3. A calendar of proposed community education sites, dates, times to ALTC in order to coordinate and avoid date conflicts with previously scheduled events. This is to occur before a community education event is finalized. 4. Responsibility for event publicity, to include all related advertising and media work, and coordination with ALTC to publicize events. 5. Planning and recruitment for involvement of volunteers, if needed, for program activities during community education events or related follow up.
