Work Requirements: WALK-IN COOLER REPAIR 1. Certifications for HVAC Technician & Journeyman-Level Electrician 2. Provide all labor, equipment, and materials to remove and replace the Condensing Unit and Evaporator Unit for the walk-in-cooler; including replacement of the existing refrigeration lines between the condensing unit and the interior unit. Work shall include evacuating the existing refrigerant and recharging the systems with new Refrigerant (R449a or approved equal, approx. 25 lbs.). Work shall include all electrical work to complete the repair. Cost should include supplying and bringing all materials, fittings, tools, and equipment to complete the repair at the work site and shall include all costs associated with the proper removal and disposal of any failed or unserviceable equipment and materials from the work site that are related to the repair. All new equipment shall be of the same make & model to the one being replaced or shall be an approved equivalent that is reviewed and approved by the City prior to install. Field verify all the existing equipment make and models numbers before submitting for review. 3.
