Specifications include, but are not limited to: Services from an independent contractor who is a licensed security firm, able to provide proof of full insurance and bonding, verifiable by the Illinois State Police. The contractor must have a minimum of one year experience providing a twenty-four hour, seven days a week fully armed security force. At least one armed security person must be present at the Forensic Science Center at Chicago at all times and will provide appropriate back-up personnel, as determined by the Illinois State Police, to ensure the security of the facility. Security personnel will be expected to provide armed security protection, personal escort services for the staff and reception services for the Forensic Science Center at Chicago.
