Specifications include, but are not limited to: Pierce County Security Program manages a complex, comprehensive, integrated Physical Access Control (PAC) system, CCTV/VMS system, integrated Stentofon video phone system, and an integrated BOSCH intrusion detection system (IDS) for many complexes, buildings and locations throughout Pierce County. In addition, Pierce County utilizes SENSTAR products for security purposes and will continue to utilize this system for security purposes. Contractor will be required to follow the established Pierce County cabling requirements, the cabling and IP request process by the Pierce County Information Technology (IT) team, and the Pierce County Security Program standard established and authorized hardware components. Contractor will need to follow Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) background checks as well as Jail/Sheriff background requirements. Pierce County is seeking proposals for contract award that will cover the 2023 through 2025 calendar years. Pierce County is seeking proposals that would cover new design, new installation, repairs and improvements, as well as a comprehensive maintenance program for the entire system as outlined above. The contractor must be able to support each of these aspects in a timely, responsive manner, and the proposal must specifically address all key areas. Areas of work include jail locations, Sheriff locations, sensitive high-risk locations, wastewater treatment plants, Parks locations, courthouse, exterior spaces, and other buildings/locations throughout Pierce County
