Specifications include, but are not limited to: The ctcLink project will implement modern applications and functionality to replace the current CTC systems. The in-scope functionality of the ctcLink solution supports most of the administrative requirements of the CTC system, including the 34 individual colleges and the SBCTC. The implementation of a CTC-wide solution is consistent with, and supports, the state mandate to improve efficiencies of state organizations, the requirement to comply with various state and federal legislative requirements, and the ability to efficiently and effectively deliver education to students. The overall ctcLink project involves the selection, procurement and implementation of an ERP solution and implementing efficient business processes consistent with industry best practices, supported by effective technology. The major tasks include: installation and configuration of hardware and software platforms infrastructures, computer application suite licensing, data migrations, functional and business process analysis and configurations, integration with external interfaces, functional user testing, FirstLink college implementation, extensive user training and ongoing support services. As planned, CTC colleges will be deployed in as many as 4 waves after the FirstLink colleges are implemented.
