Slash Treatment: 1. Limb all cut stems on three sides. Buck all stems at least once. Continue to buck stems until the cut stem contacts the ground along its entire length. No portion of the cut stem shall be longer than 16 feet. Maximum slash height is 24 inches. All limbs etc. That extends more than 24 inches above the ground will be cut. 2. Cut trees must be felled to the ground, no leaners, hung up in crop trees will be allowed. 3. All "cut" trees shall be felled to the horizontal position and severed from the stump. All trees shall be cut as close to ground level as possible. A maximum stump height tolerated shall be one-half (1/2) the diameter of the stump (Example: 4" on an 8" stump). There shall be no sharp-edged stumps left on cut trees.
