Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Gather external, competitor, and state/regional data to identify how the University’s current offerings align with the future external environment, enrollment and fiscal projection scenarios, including county-level projections of high school seniors and the University’s expected share based on institutional readiness and the realities of current state vs. desired state. b. The planning process will be data-informed, not data-driven. The SEM planning team will dive into multiple sources of data to gain a broad and deep understanding of the data and its relationship to a future desired state for the system. That awareness will be used to make decisions that align with the University’s mission while allowing it to adapt intentionally to the future instead of simply reacting to it. c. Conduct an analysis of WSU’s enrollment data (for each campus and system-wide) and recruiting and enrollment strategies to identify current and future opportunities and challenges.
