This Request for Information (“RFI”) is being issued by ISBE to seek input and feedback on the attached Description of Proposed Requirements. ISBE is not seeking specific vendor solutions to the Proposed Requirements. Instead, ISBE requests that respondents provide specific, written comments on the Description of the Proposed Requirements to aid ISBE as it develops its application to the U.S. Department of Education for the Race to the Top program. This information may also be used to inform ISBE's development of specifications for a future procurement of a Learning and Performance Management System. In particular, ISBE is interested in obtaining vendor responses and feedback on the aspects of the Description of the Proposed Requirements that are in the attached Request for Information. No additional specifications were given.
