Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected applicant will be responsible for working directly with PiPE to make rent and rent arrears payments to eligible single adult EPRA clients. The selected application will: • Review payment request information submitted by PiPE for completeness. If necessary, follow-up with PiPE to obtain complete payment information. • Confirm that each payment request is within program guidelines, including but not limited to number of months of rent assistance a client may receive, monthly rent limits, and that payments are for eligible program costs. • Issue payments in a timely manner to ensure clients rent are paid on-time in accordance with their lease and late fees are not incurred or pay or vacate notices issued. • Issue payments within two weeks for approved rent arrears. • Track payments, including managing any returned funds or uncashed checks, and re-issuing checks, when necessary and appropriate. • Work in partnership with Partners in Prevention Education (PiPE) to submit complete and accurate reports to OHHP regarding payments made. • Work in partnership with PiPE to manage the spend-down of ERPA funds to ensure the program remains operational throughout the life of the contract. • Monthly meetings with Thurston County Staff to review program implementation.
