The project will replace two side-by-side fish passage barrier culverts at milepost (MP) 3.23 on Center Road, where the road intersects Chimacum Creek. The first task will be preparation of a Preliminary Design Report to analyze alternatives for the replacement of the culverts at MP 3.23. Design alternatives shall meet all of the requirements of the WSDOT Design Manual, the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife fish passage design guidelines, and the Brian Abbott Fish Barrier Removal Board Technical Review process. Following completion of the Preliminary Design Report, the Consultant will prepare complete Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E), obtain environmental permits and clearances, and perform a load rating.
