Specifications include, but are not limited to:Consultants will be expected to provide the full range of services to assist KPUD in meeting the requirements of DAHP, Governor’s Executive Order 21-02, and Tribes. The consultant will provide services as requested by KPUD, including, but not limited to: • Preparation of archaeological monitoring plans and associated documents • On site construction monitoring as necessary for compliance with monitoring plan • Other services may include archaeological and historic resources research and reconnaissance; site testing; resource recovery; artifact cataloging; cultural resource compliance training, report preparation; mitigation, and monitoring. The consultant will have complete responsibility for the employment and supervision of all personnel used in completing the assigned work. The successful consultant shall be an expert in the area of archaeology. Typically, work shall start within two (2) weeks, and results/reports shall be provided to the KPUD for review within six (6) weeks of receiving a Notice to Proceed for each Work Order. Urgent needs shall require work to be performed within a shorter timeline. Projects may include work related to: • Telecommunication/broadband projects • Water system projects • Wastewater system projects
