The purpose of this project is to procure and deliver a specified range of uniforms to meet the operational needs and safety standards required for firefighting, emergency response, and general duties. All uniforms must withstand the rigors of fire and emergency response operations. This includes resistance to abrasion, exposure to fire, and physical wear. Uniforms must be breathable and designed for comfort, providing adequate mobility during operations and extended wear. The Vendor may be asked to fit (size) all SFD personal in men's and women's sizes from extra-small to 5XL. The contractor must provide sizing charts and support to help department personnel select the proper fit. The Vendor shall provide ongoing customer support and a clear process for handling returns, exchanges, and repairs if necessary. The Vendor must be a certified dealer or distributor of the uniform items specified in the bid table. Brand/Manufacturer name is found in the item description in the bid table. All items must comply with applicable NFPA standards (NFPA 1971, NFPA 1977, etc.), OSHA regulations, and any other relevant safety standards. The SFD reserves the right to inspect and approve samples of the uniforms before proceeding with full orders.
