Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this RFI is to assist the City in gaining a better understanding of what commercial on-premise or hosted solutions are available that would help streamline and standardize design and construction project and portfolio management. The City’s current project management system includes Microsoft Project for scheduling, Excel spreadsheets for checklists and budgeting, SharePoint for document management, and Microsoft Dynamics for financial management and accounting. The project and portfolio management (PPM) software solution will be used across all project phases by City staff, consultant teams, and contractors, and requires seamless data sharing with the City’s existing Microsoft Dynamics ERP environment. While the City’s typical construction projects are design-bid-build, the City desires to explore the use of a single PPM software solution to span the management of the Capital Investment Program (CIP) and alternate delivery methods such as design/build, general contractor/construction manager, or others as appropriate.
