• Accessibility Audit: o Conduct a comprehensive audit of all public-facing web content, including affiliated third-party websites, against WCAG 2.1 Level AA Standards. This includes https://www.whatcomcounty.us/, a Civic Plus site, the county intranet, and affiliated, public-facing, third party sites. o Provide a detailed report of findings, including specific areas of non-compliance and recommendations for remediation. o Prioritize issues based on severity and impact. • Training o Develop and deliver training sessions for web administrators and content creators on ADA web accessibility standards. o Create user-friendly documentation outlining WCAG standards and best practices. o Provide resources for maintaining accessibility compliance going forward. • Consultation o Provide guidance on interpretation of WCAG 2.1 Level AA Standards as it pertains to archiving content and “current use”. o Review language for future procurement/contracts that ensures compliance with future vendors. o Review and provide feedback on Accessibility statement for website. o Advise and provide roadmap for internal actions for County staff to come into compliance and remain in compliance with the standards mandated by Title 2 across all delivered web content.
