Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. The Pierce County Department of Emergency Management intends to continue contracting with the Economic Development Board for Tacoma-Pierce County (“the Board”) to provide business climate improvement, marketing, underserved community outreach, and other services related to fostering economic development, based on a Sole Source procurement exemption. The Board has been designated by the Washington State Department of Commerce (“Commerce”) as Pierce County’s sole Associate Economic Development Organization (ADO). As the County’s ADO, the Board is already integrated with a regional network of businesses and partnerships and with the state Small Business Training and Education Center.
