Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to establish a contract to provide services on an as needed basis. Any quantities listed herein are for bidding purposes only and represent Snohomish Countys estimated annual requirements. The County will be neither obligated nor restricted to the quantities or locations indicated. Anticipated duties include the following: Daily Gate Security: Responsible for providing security to the admissions personnel at designated fairground entrance areas. Gate Security shall be observant and monitor crowds at these entry points for potential problems, and (through Supervisor) communication with on-site Sheriff Department dispatch regarding those issues related to security or law enforcement as designated by Fair Manager. Grandstand Concert Series Security: Provides back stage, front of the house and perimeter security during the Concert Series scheduled in the Grandstands. Grandstand Concert Series Security may assist with crowd control as designated by Fair Administration or Sheriff Department. Supervisor: A supervisor with the authority to represent Contractors company in operational and staffing decisions shall be physically present and available on-site whenever contracted security personnel are performing the duties described in this ITB. Supervisor shall attend daily Safety meetings. Additional Security: At the direction of Fairground management, additional personnel may be required for unanticipated security duties. 12 hours notice will typically be provided for Additional Security requirements. In the event of emergencies, Private Security should be construed an integral part of the Fairs Emergency Action Team (FEAT) as directed by Fair Administration and Sheriff Department. Operational concerns shall be addressed to the Fair Manager or his designee. Communication to on-site Sheriff Department dispatch will be provided for issues related to security or law enforcement as designated by Fair Manager.
