Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. The purpose of this contract is to assist the Teacher and Principal Evaluation Program (TPEP) in implementing professional development designed to strengthen principal mentors statewide. The Contractor, Washington School Principals Education Foundation (WSPEF), also known as the Washington Association of School Principals (AWSP), shall ensure novice principals and assistant principals (APs) receive robust mentoring that supports their growth and retention from trained mentors. The Contractor shall also assist in supporting OSPI’s new learning standards, providing collaborative learning networks, and providing a research review and policy recommendation for supporting new leaders. To implement this work, the Contractor will do the following: • Develop a competitive selection process for mentors and provide mentors with access to AWSP’s Leadership Framework, School Leader Paradigm, and all AWSP digital learning resources. • Provide Principal/Assistant Principal Mentoring Pairing and Grant Support. This includes data collection and reporting. • Develop and host two (2) webinars explaining OSPI’s new Learning Standards. • Publish two (2) articles in AWSP’s Bookends publication highlightuing the new standards and leadership strategies for implemntatoon. This includes providing broad statewide online and print access.
