The City of Ketchikan, Alaska (hereafter known as City) is requesting sealed proposals from qualified vendors to design, construct, and deliver a portable restroom unit. The goal is to acquire a durable, high-quality portable unit suitable for high volume use during the summer tourism season in downtown Ketchikan. In the off-season months the unit will be relocated and stored for the winter, therefore the unit must be trailerable. The portable restroom unit will serve as a mobile restroom solution for visitors and locals in downtown Ketchikan, Alaska. The unit must be built to endure heavy usage in a wet rainforest climate, while offering comfort and cleanliness. The unit must be plumbed to install directly on the municipal water and sewer systems and have a useful life of at least 5 years.
